According to this March 13 CMS directive it does say that "nursing homes should admit any individuals that they would normally admit to their facility, including individuals from hospitals where a case of COVID-19 was/is present."
https://www.cms.gov/files/document/3-13-2020-nursing-home-guidance-covid-19.pdf
It was highly criticized at the time and certainly seems to have been a very bad idea in retrospect. However, it's odd to only pick out certain governors when it was proposed as a solution to overcrowding in hospitals by the CDC and CMS that are under the White House's watch just like the NY State Health board is under Cuomo's.
Cuomo certainly made a huge error in pushing back against the NYC mayor's desire to lockdown NYC days earlier than what finally happened. However, this seems like the CMS/CDC down solution to freeing up hospital space.

And NYC never approached hospital capacity, it was part of the plan to kill as many people as possible

NYC hospitals were a complete shitshow with hallways packed with makeshift beds, 24+ hour waiting times to see doctors and lines around the damn blocks outside triage tents just down the street from my house for a few weeks.
Though I suppose those could have been filled with movie extras hired to make Trump look bad.

So your point is that it wasn't as bad as expected? How does any of this point to a hoax? Are we talking about the same Donald Trump that set the federal guidelines, shutting down the economy, himself?

A nursing home is the LAST PLACE IN THE WORLD you would send a Covid carrier

When Joe Biden's twitter released a video saying that Trump's economy has 33+ million unemployed and he has allowed 70k+ (at that time) to die from this virus, that told me all I needed to know about the dems. Nevermind the fact they all called Trump xenophobic when he started shutting things down from China and how they all said go about your lives, enjoy Chinese new years and hug other Asian people. Now, they're trying to act like the economy under him wasn't booming before this crap and that he's solely responsible for the lost jobs, while they also want the shutdown extended and even more restrictive guidelines.
These are the people who want to stay shut down, but at the same time are blaming Trump for the unemployed.
The lack of morals it takes someone to blame deaths and unemployment caused by a virus, on another person, is staggering. Especially, when that person went against certain measures that have now been proven effective, like restricting travel, and when said person wants to keep everything shut down, but also continues blaming someone for unemployment, which was caused by said shut down.
I'm a registered independent, because I didn't want to tie myself to one party and wanted to vote for whichever candidate I felt had the best position on things. I know Trump/Republicans are FAR from perfect, but there's no way in hell I can see myself voting for ANYONE in this current version of the democratic party.
I remember talking to a guy I used to work with about the "war in the middle east". At the time, he was praising Obama for pulling out our troops. Then, a couple of years later, he was slamming Trump for trying to do the same thing. Saying it's going to cause instability, Trump has no clue, blah blah blah. There's many other examples just like this. The hate they have for Trump has broken them and caused them to lose any objectivity. It's been a weird thing to experience.

PT (justifiably) loves trashing left wing news and claiming it as false, but then will turn around and cite some shite like Info Wars or Brietbart as 100% factual information and unbiased news. That sword cuts both ways morons.

I posted NPR too so you can both quit crying, anyway if Breitbart quotes CDC or Stanford data how is that "propaganda" unless your IQ is just that low.

While I was driving yesterday (and NOT linking to CNN) I listened to a great NYT podcast called “ Rabbit Hole, which explores how one can get radicalized by YouTube videos, with perhaps the principal culprit being the AI algorithm YouTube employed to keep people watching. It explains about 95% of PoliBoard activity the last three years.
I recommend it to anyone and everyone. It may provide real insight into many posters here.
