The guys speech was overblown. It WAS the BET Awards, so he was preaching to the choir. It just made it to everybody because it's mainstream now. The only reason people give a frick is because of appropriations. White people saw your speech because they "appropriated" your show.
Just sounded like any other angry young black man speech. Well done and well worded, but it has been said many times over. He's probably pissed too and over compensating because he is "bright" with green/blue eyes, so some of his own people probably hate him anyway just based on that.
This all on a night where Ali's daughter used his quote, "if a man sees the world at 50 the same as he saw it at 20, he has wasted 30 years of his life."
