Spin off from the power outage thread. Anyone have Charter/Spectrum back yet? East of 59, south of 1088 I still dont.

Nope. Canceling after this and switching to att. Their customers have internet in my subdivision.

As posted earlier, cable guys can’t get on the poles until cleared by electric guys. Unless you’re really lucky, service is gonna lag behind power.

I'm in Forest Brook off 1088. When the power came back Wednesday night, so did Spectrum. that was around 8pm. By 2 pm on Thursday, it was off and has been since. You can't get any sort of answers from Charter at all.

I've had power since Wednesday night... it's Saturday morning and nothing. Poles are fine all around 59/1088 area.

Spectrum went out before my power went out Sunday night. Still not back on in my neighborhood yet as far as I know, but we don’t have power yet. Off 1085 and Brewster. Neighbors with generators had ATT wifi working whole time.

Not really. Poles, lines, and transformers all still down on America, Caroline, McNamara, Foy, Marigny SE of 59/1088 intersection. I'm with WSTE and haven't seen a truck at all. Also have ATT internet and God knows how long it'll be before that service returns after WSTE gets power back.

Im in old covington between ssa and st pauls. I have AT&T fiber and lost it for about 6 hours late sunday/early monday. Got it back and haven't lost it again. Neighbor has charter internet and says it's up. We've been running on generator since Sunday afternoon.

Everyone I know off 1088 that has ATT, had it back up Wednesday. We had charter for one day then it went down....

Charter was out for well over a month after Katrina near Bootlegger and 21. I can watch with my hotspot but not all channels because I don't have spectrum internet. So I won't be able to watch the game

Havent seen a charter truck.
Att fiber has worked the whole time in my neighborhood.

If charter shares the poles that Cleco and WST use, then they have zero excuse off 1088 and 59. Power has been on since Wednesday and Internet came back at the same time, lasted for about 20 hours and has been down ever since. explain that.

AT&T fiber did not go down. I’m in west St Tammany. Left Charter about two years ago, not one issue so far with AT&T.

Had Spectrum back when power was restored a few days ago (190 N of 12)….
About 24 hours later, down and hasn’t been back since.
Enough of their shite….. I’m done with them.
