I'm not surprised the community paints the picture that the cop gunned down an unarmed man with his hands up...question is who is more reliable?
They all want justice...and have already made their minds up that justice will be a conviction...without knowing all the evidence

Dumb bitch on CNN "Thats why we need direct communication to whomever is making the call to engage... We can tell them that they are just throwing water bottles"

This is simply a matter of perception. There's nothing to say police are inherently more reliable. They may be practically more reliable. That doesn't actually govern each individual instance and serves as a shield to their ongoing accountability.

Does cnn order these hosts to make Wilson look as bad as possible and to contradict their guests if they say anything claiming Wilson might have been justified?

What is this stupid woman talking about?
She wants to tell the police if the bottles thrown were only water or whatever?
And the people who get caught in the crossfire are idiots for being out there

Heres a thought. Tell them to stop throwing shite at the police.

She's talking about kids in the streets now
What kind of parent brings kids to this?

Throwing water bottles is peaceful...the cops may be thirsty
The media is retarded.

The type of parent involved in this isnt the surprising thing.

I think the police have those same tendencies. So, when they get a call saying there's a guy in WalMart brandishing a gun, their first instinct is "OMG, it is happening here." This leads to the escalation of a non-violent incident to lethal by perception.
Your thought process is wrong. As a police officer responds to a "man with a gun" call they think of scenarios and how they are going to respond and react. The man with a gun calls happen thousands of times a day and you, the average Joe, never hear about it. Why? Because they are usually handled the right way.

Paige just did on the last page.

I didn't omit any details which were asked for. I said "4 unarmed black men were killed in the last month" and linked an article which gave a rundown of every instance. I'm not sure how that's omitting details.

Just b/c there are a few bad cops doesn't make them all bad.

What are they going to try next to quell the violent portion of the "protesters"?
Cops in military garb - didn't work
Fire them and bring in State Troopers to pacify them - didn't work
have national guard protect troopers - didn't work
What's left? Let them run amok until they venture too far and let the general population eliminate them one by one? No. Then fricking wreck them with police force and end this shite so that neighborhood can get some rest.
Sell it now. Tell the neighbors what you are going to do. Why you are going to do it and to whom you are going to do it to. The rest of you stay off the streets for a few nights while we take out the trash.
Is there anything left to do other than keep coddling criminals which is part of this freaking problem anyway.

Which is very comforting to everyone except the family and loved ones of the ones where it's handled wrongly. I get that it's not an easy job. Where does accountability come in to a situation like that? Do we just say "here's some money" to the family and say "it's a tough job, you wouldn't understand"? Is there anything that can be done practically or is it just the reality of life?
