County investigation: Michael Brown was shot from the front, had marijuana in his system
quote:

Michael Brown was shot in the head and chest multiple times, according to Mary Case, the St. Louis County medical examiner.

While Case declined to comment further, citing the ongoing investigation into Brown’s death, another person familiar with the county’s investigation told The Washington Post that Brown had between six and eight gunshot wounds and was shot from the front.

Can't understand for the life of me why the federal government is even involved.

Yes

Thomas Jackson says his department has 18 patrol cars. This spring, the department purchased two dashboard cameras and two wearable body cameras, but the equipment hasn't been installed because the department doesn't have the money to cover that cost, he said.

A dashcam and installation runs about $3,000, he told CNN.

Wheres this coming from?

So far I've seen only people that think this will be the case. I don't know but his actions in the film in the store before the confrontation indicate a bully type of personality. Some of the reports at the scene back this up. My take on the picture of the autopsy seems to fit a pattern of a guy not acting rationally. All just one of the possibilities at this point.

What continues to amaze me is how the media has already picked sides.

That is because there is an agenda...

Nothing new here.

You mean other than the fight in the cop vehicle?

Look, I can't help but be skeptical. Statements change so much and I can't test the veracity of them. I haven't taken anyone's statement at face value, so it goes both ways.

Fair...I haven't decided yet either. I'm waiting on all the investigations to be completed but there are certain things that no one in the media is disputing.

My DIL is a defense attorney. She has seen just the opposite of what you have.

Experiences vary. A truck was pulled over recently here in MS and witnesses state that the driver never exited the vehicle and law enforcement shot at him while inside the truck 11 times. Now they are in a little hot water because they didn't report it until 4 days later. Besides, in your DIL's experiences, those persons may have done something to make the officer think they were armed (or they actually were armed).

and you are publicly asking questions to a board of people that obviously don't have the facts. You are getting what you ask for, theories and past experience of past confrontations. Don't be so frickin defensive when you don't like the theories.

I'm not getting defensive about it.

What DOES upset me is that all this shite has happened (the rioting, the demagoguery, the propaganda, the looting, the violence) and all over what will more than likely turn out to be a justified shooting. Freaking ridiculous.

then turned around and charged at the cop. At which point the cop pulled the trigger until he hit the ground. which accounts for the shot on the top of the head.

IF the first shots hit a 290 lb. pissed off guy (9mm) in the arm it wouldn't be a bee sting. 9mm is far from a badass round and we don't know if it was hollow point or FMJ.

I'm of the opinion that we won't ever know exactly what happened unless some security cam footage shows up from somewhere. All of these events are just tragic.

You can't imagine a scenario where he's wrestling for control of the gun?

The autopsy revealed that Brown had no gun powder residue anywhere on his body. I would think that if he was wrestling for the gun and it went off near his hand that there would have been gunpowder residue on him somewhere.

No matter what happened it's no excuse for people to be rioting and looting over.

This is scary given his racial statements and past actions.
