Either way, it seems this series of events is much more plausible than saying that some random six year veteran police officer with a job and family (probable) just woke up and decided to destroy his life by going out and shooting someone with their hands up in the middle of the street because he felt like it.
Why? People do that all the time. Wake up and decide to shoot people.
And people on here call them all thugs and POS's and crazies.
Why would we assume he's different? Because he's a cop?
This could be just another workplace shooting, like in an office. Difference is, his office are the streets.

There were 10 shots fired, correct?

I always wonder what is going through these black police officers minds when there are these riots.

He was shot far more than once
And you know this how?
Besides the fact that my scenario in no way dictates the number of shots, the close range shots could have been in multiples of ten for all it matters.
The points being: 1. No one knows but people keep making statements (like yours) as fact. 2. It is just more plausible that a struggle occurred and shots were fired than the alternative that the officer just blasted away from thirty feet for no reason.

He also knows he'll have the added protection of the thin blue line, and get an extra few weeks of paid vacation out of it

Because why would the Police Dept. lie about that. (I mean, when you lie, you usually omit or change the info that incriminates your dept.)

Unless they recover a weapon from the lad, this is excessive force. no other way to spin it.

So cops at the peaceful portion of the vigil when the Brown family was there, cops in full gear yelling at them "Bring it on you fricking animals." Yeah, that's not going to incite a riot when you're talking to the mother of the deceased or their family like that.
Where are you pulling this crap from?

How many blacks murdered by blacks everyday? Hundreds I'm sure Where's Al? Where's the Black Panthers?
What does this have to do with the mis-use of state power?
Red herrings much?

And if the cop wouldn't have gotten out the car, to harass some kids walking in the streets, this wouldn't have happened.
Kid probably said something smart-arse and the cop had to show him proper respect.
Now the kid is dead.
*Also: are we ignoring the fact that the police claimed he shoplifted and the store denied that claim? Or was that disproven?

They were also dressed as pointy ghosts...y'know, for increased visibility.
And they lit large lower case t's on fire, both to provide light and to stand for "trust us".

He won't, to that or any of the other misleading versions he is giving.

We'll see. Time will tell. The one part you are leaving out is that even the police statement says the kid was 35 feet away from the police officer when he went down. I do agree with you about eye witness testimony.
This I am fairly certain of. The eye witness will lie or be wrong. The cops will lie or be wrong. The truth will actually probably be somewhere in the middle.

did he have his hands up before he was shot?
From the accounts I have heard and I could be very wrong about this so absolutely take it with a grain of salt, but I believe even one of the official's comments said as much.

I don't think we know for certain exactly how many fired. County rep only confirmed that the kid was shot easily more than a couple of times.
