I would agree that Jessie and Al and everyone should get involved every time there is an unjustified shooting of a citizen by LE, regardless of whether the person shot is white, black or whatever.

so,the race war has started?

Yeah, the rough crowd won't show up till the malt liquor hangover wears off.

But I thought those do-good whites were struggling alongside their black brethren that they understand oh so well? They... like... stand in solidarity and stuff.

Can't tell if you're being melodramatic like Manson's race war or not. Lots of people have made it about race unfortunately INCLUDING the Browns bringing in Sharpton and Trayvon's lawyer, along with the looters/rioters.

I am sure that malt liquor isn't the only thing they were under the influence of.

it's sad that nothing will ever get so bad for white people that they would ever stick together enough to combat what's being don e to them. You just said it wouldn't be safe for whites when it got later in the day and the bad blacks start showing up.
Why? Why couldn't a white person defend themselves from being attacked?

I think a lot of people of a lot of colors are tired of the admittedly very small percentage of law enforcement officers that abuse their authority.

I suppose you can go give it a shot if you like. I would certainly suggest that if you go up there and are attacked, you would have every right to defend yourself.

Do you have a video or some other source that no one else knows about? You keep citing things as facts. I suspect you don't know jack and are making it up to fit what you think happened. So let's try an alternative and entirely PLAUSIBLE theory that fits all the witness accounts and police statement at this time.*

*We will see how close this is when the investigation is complete. NOTE that I am not taking sides unlike you.

1. Teens walking in street. (apparently undisputed)
2. Officer stops and, from car, tells them to get on sidewalk. (entirely possible he said something that provoked them)
3. Teens say something back. (likely something that made the officer mad)
4. Officer stops car, jumps out and grabs youth.
5. Scuffle ensues near car door as youth tries to get away. (Frankly I would be prone to pull away if an irate officer grabbed me too, not judging)
6. Officer pulls gun during scuffle OR during scuffle youth touches gun (purposefully or not) and then officer pulls gun.
7. Youth is shot at close range during scuffle. (Forensics will clearly show at what range the shots were fired)
8. Witnesses hear shots and move to see event just as youth runs a few steps away.
9. Youth realizes he is shot, turns toward officer with hands up and collapses.
10. Witnesses see all of this occur in a few seconds and report it as a single event and not shots followed by the run and turn. (plenty of studies have shown eyewitnesses are highly unreliable and these witnesses are biased against police on top of that)

Not in any way saying that the officer was justified in shooting. For that matter, maybe the shots were unintentional during the struggle. Either way, it seems this series of events is much more plausible than saying that some random six year veteran police officer with a job and family (probable) just woke up and decided to destroy his life by going out and shooting someone with their hands up in the middle of the street because he felt like it.
