Claims it's going to a federal grand jury next... That would only be for a civil rights violation if my understanding is correct?

I think that's right. Or if some other federal statute was violated.

I know there were allegations of police trying to cover up, but I don't think that would take it to federal court necessarily. Reedus? Your take on this?

Do ANY of these lawyers representing people associated with this situation have common fricking sense?

Nearly multiple hundreds.

That would be one instance of police brutality I would support.

I suspect only civil rights violations, if anything. Not exactly up my alley though. I suspect any cover up would come down in an entire separate investigation where you see Ferguson or St. Louis County for example relieved until the investigation is over. Highly unlikely IMO. Of course, if the County keeps spewing bullshite about how an almost burglarized McDonald's is worse than a burning QT, they may be asking for it. Making statements like that after deliberation show a bigger problem with their approach to law enforcement than any flaws with decisions made in the heat of the moment at the scene.

There is an epidemic of "good boys" getting framed in this country. We've gotta look into this.

I read a post on Fb, supposedly from one of his friends.

She claims there are 2 witnesses who collaborate the Cops story, and the County DA wants them to stay away and keep quiet till depositions/trial.

???

You won't find me often agreeing that the use of excessive force is ever justified, but this I can get on board with.
