As of now i'm going with official word (same as the mike brown case), once the fbi/justice dept/whoever investigates, I'll go with whatever conclusion they come up with. I'm not trying to argue for the sake of arguing, thats just my POV.

Yeah. I don't have the energy for that ish again. If people refuse to suspend judgement, idk how to make them.

official word
It's only official in your mind and to the police. It has no other intrinsic value to it. Labeling it as "official" is meaningless for the purpose of finding the truth.

This is the closest the police are letting me get to the press conference.

Paraphrasing what he said:
Says he's not going into detail into evidence or anything that has been determined. Expresses his sympathy to mike brown, the death of any individual is a tragedy, and the death of a 19 year old is a greater tragedy regardless of the circumstances. He says they wont tell specifics because the US atty and FBI are conducting an investigation with DOJ and it's ongoing, and they will be conducting their own investigation side by side. They are investigating any criminal laws broken, the doj is investigating civil rights federal laws. Says they are still in the information gathering stage, and with social media there's a lot of info out there, wants anyone and everyone with info to come forward and contact them or the police, or the fbi, or the us atty, or anyone. Says they will do a full fair investigation and nothing will be left untouched. The way the investigation will be conducted, the physical evidence has been done, they will continue to gather any info from the public. They are waiting for med examiner reports, tox reports, interviews, etc. When they have it all they will look it over and present every single bit of evidence to the grand jury. At the same time the fed govt. will do their same thing for their investigation so they will work close together as they overlap. He can't guarantee any particular outcome of the investigation. The grand jury will then determine if any charges will be filed, and against whom. If there is any charges are filed, evidence will become public record according to law. If they say there is no indictment found, the evidence found will be immediately made public. Says everyone wants to know what happened, and the problem with that is twofold; ethical, they are not allowed to provide physical evidence. also he wont do anything to corrupt the integrity of the investigation. When he talks to a witness, he wants to know what the witness knows, not what they heard in the news. He wants to take what they say and compare it to other witnesses and determine if the witness is credible. for example if someone comes in and says i saw everything that happened, and the physical evidence conflicts with that, then we know the witness couldn't have seen what he says he seen. With all of that in mind, I really don't have any questions to answer. The timeline on this is there is no timeline, we will do it as expeditiously as possible, but we wont cut off anyone who has something to say. When it appears we have all of that evidence, we will then provide it to the grand jury and begin that process. We have difficulty reaching a lot of witnesses. We see a lot of people on social media making statements and we have trouble reaching them.

I thought he did ok. There are plenty of people who don't know the investigation process and may not be aware of why they won't release information while the investigation is ongoing. I think this was more about keeping misunderstandings from adding fuel to the fire.
