How do we know the suspects were black? Unless I missed it, the article thought it was important to note the victim was Bosnian, but not the ethnicity of the suspects.

they are pissed, they demonstrated and demanded the chiefs ear. Not only did he come ASAP, but the Head of the Aldermen, lewis reed got there ASAP. He knows the Bosnians will go at this with an eye for an eye. They scared.
Seriously, for this guy to go to the area and offer support, when he wouldnt do this in his own ward(mostly black) says a lot, they scared.

"Two were caught and taken into juvenile custody. Police are still searching for two others, a 16-year-old black male and a 15-year-old Hispanic."

Other reports have stated the two teens in custody are black but many reports simply brush past that fact and simply describe them as 2 teens.

I always find that interesting. CConversely, when USA today reported on the guy that shot off 100 rounds in downtown Austin, the first line of the article read something like "middle aged white man, most likely with conservative and anti-immigration political views, opens fire in downtown Austin."

Since they had hammers, they will get charges with premeditated in the title, correct. Murder 2?
No way a defense attorney can argue those weapons weren't for killing or attacking some one. NO one goes around carrying hammers.
Seriously, the Black Alderman was smart to try and get things to a peaceful state. They wont play games.
Bosnians are supposed to have a silent march through their neighborhoods tomorrow. Will probably end up on grand, where they have bars, eateries, coffee places.
Bosnians will get 100% support of community.
