I feel sorry for his daughters more than anyone. On what level is it "normal" to give your teenage daughter's friend a massage? Castrate him.

What a creep. My daughter (14 ask for pics and I will find you and kill you) and her friends are at the approximate age of this douchbag's victims. I would hate to think of what my reaction would be.
Also how is one not super careful in this day and age to be overly cautious on boundaries with minors? I coach my daughter's basketball team and only return hugs and then make sure they are side hugs, not full hugs. I don't want ANY issues around that stuff with my name attached to it.

Only people getting hugs from me are family members and adults I have known more than ten years. I am taking the Mike Pence approach these days. Keep members of the opposite sex (and same sex too) at arms length. No one can even make an allegation that way.

My daughter and his played on the same HS teams. Occasionally I'd stand or sit next to him at games. This is after he put himself into an alcohol program. Granted that was the only times I've spoken to him, but that floored me when it came out. The being drunk at the airport could happen to a lot of people, most people gave him a pass. But you cannot look at people and tell what they are capable of.

So this guy was giving 'massages", applying sunscreen, and wiping Vick's Vapor Rub on a girls chest while in his underwear in his kitchen ? Dude has some serious issues and likes little girls

Not good enough. You've gotta keep them at arm's length AND in public view. Otherwise any allegation becomes he said-she said and as a he you will be fricked in court.
If you actually read the article, you would have read where his daughters were witnesses, contradicted the allegations, and he was still found guilty because the prosecution successfully lobbied that the girls were naturally defending their father.
Prosecutors prosecute. The only way to beat it is to avoid it altogether.
