A St. George man allegedly fought with another man and knocked over an elderly woman sitting at a slot machine on the L’Auberge Casino floor, deputies said.
Joshua Guillot, 38, is wanted by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office for a count each of disturbing the peace by fistic encounter and negligent injury.

On Aug. 7, deputies were dispatched to the L’Auberge Casino in response to two men fighting on the floor. Guillot allegedly left the scene before police arrived, but the other man was still there. Deputies described the remaining man as having a swollen and bloody eye and being “heavily intoxicated.”
A security staff member said Guillot accused the male of “disrespecting” his wife. While the security staff member held the two back from each other, Guillot jumped on him and started punching, deputies said.

Security staff said they fought again as Guillot was leaving, and the man followed him.
The male said he did not want to press charges against Guillot and refused EMS transport to the hospital.
During the investigation, deputies talked to an 89-year-old woman who said she was sitting at a slot machine when the fight occurred. She told deputies that during the fight, the men landed on her and knocked her from her chair, while continuing to fight on top of her. Bystanders were able to pull her away before she hit the floor.

Security footage captured Guillot’s vehicle and its license plate, which deputies searched and matched it to a business in St. George. Through the company website, investigators were able to determine that it was Guillot at the casino.
Deputies left a door-hang notice on Guillot’s residence to contact EBRSO, but an attorney said he would not be making any statements at the time. The next day, deputies filed a warrant for his arrest.

Not Guillot's first rodeo. He was federally convicted of firearms related offenses. Guillot is a convicted felon, and St George transplant from Denham Springs.
