The fair has been trashy and dangerous since I can remember, which was at least early 90s. Let Gonzales have it.

Tearing down all the old chain link fencing is gonna take two years minimum then the drainage and flattening the elevation

Does anybody remember some piece of heavy equipment that was in the corner lot in the 80s. As a kid someone may have told me it was an engine from a plane but who knows.

think I lived in BR for a total of 13 years, and I never heard of or attended this event.
we ( wife and I) stopped in to guess a decade ago, had too pay $20 a piece to get in. We never rode a ride or played one game. There was a fight that broke out between two Shemicas in the first ten minutes we were there. We left right then

A chicken would have a better chance in the lions cage at the zoo than a white walking thru the state fair being held in Baker.

A few yrs ago the cultcha was brought to the state fair - LINK

Now, with a full circle move, they are bringing the fair to the cultcha. And I couldn’t be happier.

It was pretty popular 30+ years ago. We always took dates to it in high school. No idea what it's like now. Probably worse.

Maybe build a bridge across Manshac to Santa Maria and tie in the golf course?

Awesome idea!

The zoo... What a perfect spot for the dangerous and overrun state fair teen takeover.
