Sadly, bums from City of BR will find out about this and flood St.G.

Once again St.G. will be paying for City of BR's issues.

I believe I'm overly compassionate, but I'm skeptical.

What will he do if its raining or a hurricane is approaching?

During Covid my little rural but growing area of SC got a LOT of vagrants bussed in from somewhere.

It sucked.

Before then, we had maybe two or three that were no problem to the community... overnight we had at least two dozen- panhandling, loitering, being annoying and Lord only knows what drugs and crime they were responsible for.

My area is not blue, it's pretty red and we sure as hell didn't vote to have other, probably blue, states' problems bussed here.

I take it you're not a big fan of the original Beverly Hillbillies comedy TV series?

Aw, hell, I love the Beverly Hillbillies. Donna Douglas was best friends with my neighbor and talked to her all of the time growing up. Believe me I got the reference.

Do you have to ride the bus with other bums or do you get a regular ticket? That could make a budget friendly vacation if your destination offers the same deal.

Back in the day, BRPD would load up the homeless and drive them over the MS river bridge and drop them off. WBRSO would occasionally bring them back as a kind of "screw you" move.

My buddy worked 2nd District at the time and said he snatched up a homeless guy off Chimes who told him he had been back and forth over the river in cop cars five times that weekend.

About ten years ago, a BRPD officer got caught doing it and was charged with False Imprisonment or some shite and it stopped. Too bad.

I'm just saying if you are going to be homeless, California is the place to be. Better weather, lots of woke suckers, ample narcotics. Hell, you can squat in a Beverly Hills mansion.

Plus they can make decent money collecting cans & bottles to recycle

Actually... it did get taken care of, by a good bit. My husband pointed out to me last week that our vagrants have diminished a good bit (I was bitching to a relative about them).

There are still more than preCovid, but less than a year or so ago.

I have noticed that recently there has been much less homeless activity at Siegan and I-10.

Unfortunately it won’t be long before whoever we sent them to just sends them back.

If he’s able to communicate, process, and understand all of this then he can understand how to hold down a job.

Also I hope he paid taxes, social security, and healthcare on that $1 you gave him otherwise he can frick off. I’m sick and tired of it being ‘ok’ for people not following the rules and laws laid out to live in this country but expecting the same benefits as those that do.
