Honestly, there are probably only two or three that I wouldn't send my kids to. Catherine and Francis aren't one of those. Go to the open houses and pick the place you feel like you fit in.

My kid goes to SCS mainly because my wife went there when she was a kid. I really enjoy the school and how much my son is learning. The men's club is great. It's just a bunch of dads looking to have fun, float some kegs, and volunteer to help the school.

Both schools are great. Can't go wrong with either. Just pick the one you and your kid are most comfortable with.

OTers don't send their kids to blue collar schools. Country Day, Newman, St George's are where OT ballers send their brats.

Any Episcopal school including Trinity, St. Martin's, St. Andrew and St. Paul's.

That's a bad assumption let's limit it to those where tuition per child is nothing less than 16k per year per brat otherwise you'll accidentally be sending them to a school full of the poors

bullshite, all those schools are between 14-21k per year, which is well above the 5k tuition for Catholic grade school.

St. Andrew's is nowhere close to that. Very affordable school, much closer to the 5k mark.

My kid goes to SEAS. Amazing little school and quite the secret. We are breaking ground on the new school in August. The new school will not be larger, as SEAS is intentionally small by choice and design. We had a bunch of kids transfer from SCS and expect to get another flock in the fall. Once the new school opens in August 2018, it will become much more difficult to get in.

The men's club at SEAS is growing, and the meetings have beer and food. OP, if you want a nice, happy medium, check out SEAS. It will have all of the latest and greatest technology, will be conveniently located, and has a very active and friendly parish.

This was my first post in this thread? I went there and I was basing it off of my own perception of my classmates and their families. tuition has obviously increased, which seems to be the case around the board.

I wish it were, but unfortunately it's true. Look at any academic measurement, and you will see a clear difference in the local high schools.

I'm a big believer in surrounding your kid with "good kids" in elementary school, then in the best academic setting in high school.
