for class size SLKF is better than both, as far as nice facilities SFX is really nice.

I was going to send my kid to slkf. I even joined the men's club in advance to enrolling her. Place was a shite show. The principal didn't have her priorities in order, and I wouldn't consider sending my kidvyhere now unless she leaves.

Going to send her to st clement instead

SCS is by far the best Catholic grammar school in Jefferson Parish and maybe the whole region.

St Francis and St. Matthews are next down the list.

That's what I've heard. It's "very" blue collar.

The SCS mens club has 150 men show up for most meetings. Four kegs on tap and awesome food. Send them there just for that alone.

Seriously though, in talking of taranova score, teachers, principle, etc SCS has been rock solid for at least 10 years now. Oh, and the priest they have now are damn good with the kids and have a great CYO program going.

Bobby Jindle had his kids there as did Vitter. Steve Scalise's kids are there. Not sure if that matters, but seeing the secret service around when he's there is kind of cool.

SCS is very competitive and will prepare your kids for the high school of choice.

Well, some def. are. When there are that many damn lawyers and doctors and some of the look at me old Metairie folks, it's going to be that way with some.
Most are great folks just looking for what's best for their kids.

I was in the mens club there and all, wife used to work there. She got into it with the principal and pulled the kids and sent them to St Elizabeth's. I didn't know if the principal was really that bad or what. I liked the group better there and working the fair there was more fun. Mass isn't as rigid as Divine Mercy either. That priest at SLKF was awesome.

Class size was really good though and I remember hearing about what schools where what from the other teachers my wife hung out with.

( I amy also be mixing SFX and SCS in my post above too, the one on Codifer is the better one, right?)

lol, I got that by his first part of his message.

"It's Very Blue Collar"

It's $4.7k a kid, you aren't getting ghetto trash, but yeah I do like being around other small blue collar business owners rather than office workers who like to look down us us from their cubicles.

SCS is the better of the two I mixed them up earlier.

"We aren't blue collar but we got dem kegs on tap" gtfo.

This... AKA known as the "Keeping up with with Joneses school"...

That's why we send our kids to SFX....

Both really good schools, SFX much smaller, kids get better personal attention..

Dude, you can't even remember what damn school you are talking about.
SCS is $4900 per kid. There are a lot of blue collar types there, just not a lot of the trashy ones.

Aren't SCS dads required to pay men's club dues, weather they want to be part of it are not...?

Because we're thinking of doing that at SFX....
