If Aug really is firing coaches and disciplining students, I give them major props
They are teaching their students "If you want that word to disappear, stop using it"

Like I said... To whoever questioned me saying they probably used the N word.
The headlines say they used "racial slurs", which I think is inaccurate because in the way they used it, it wasn't used as a racial slur, but that's a different argument for a different day.
But its not a word that all black people use to refer to each other. In fact, there were probably a lot of alumnus who were ashamed of the video.

I’m relieved that there wasn’t this outrage culture when I played, some 20 years ago.
We said absolutely crazy things in that locker room, and we were about 50-50 white and black. Nobody got offended.

St. Aug is a proud Catholic school. They are pissed that their staff members would allow behavior like this from their students while representing the school, period.

Are you saying that winning a game kept them out of the playoffs but losing a game would have gotten them in? How does that work?

Actually, there are probably people who are not 100% aware of "locker room behavior".
Just because its a mostly black Catholic school doesn't mean it is any less of a Catholic school than a mostly white Catholic school.

I didn’t say anything about it being a black or white catholic school.
I’m saying they are pissed because they got called out. Schools like that that have long rich deep rooted traditions that are passed down over many many years. I’m willing to bet it was no secret about the chant.
Wonder why after all these years all of a sudden they got called out on it.
