I lived at Beale AFB as a wee lad. My father was in the SR-71 program.

I think every SR71 story that can be told has been told. That doesn't mean there are no other stories, only that they can't be told.

Don't have time to google them, but there are blog rooms and chat groups devoted to the blackbird.

As an Ole Miss guy, you may have heard one landed with a busted engine at Columbus AFB one time. If you look long enough, you might find it. The story is kind of cool.
