Spinoff: Whiniest Profession = Waiters, Service Staff

Spinoff (kinda) of the complaining nurses thread.
Why do wait staff feel they're entitled to a $100 tip when putting for only $1 worth of effort? This isn't true of all of course but they do seem to have a sense of entitlement. It's as if we should feel bad about their decision to have a job where their pay is subjective

You ever wait tables? It's an endless parade of whiny customers who complain about everything, no matter how well it's done. The fact that we don't hear weekly stories about waiters beating the shite out of customers is a testament to their collective self control.

I've actually had them tell me a couple of times as I'm bringing stuff out that they are taking it now but when they get off work they will be back to pick it up.
