How satisfied are you with your emergency rations? Do you have a supply?

I have a house full of all types of firearms, but not nearly enough ammo stockpiled if I had to hunker down in a days long firefight. Plenty of water, so so on food.

Let's keep the tin foil hat threads on the Outdoor Board.

Thanks.

I have plenty of guns. If I need food or water I'll just take it from people who store it

Don't forget gold for when the economy finally collapses under Obama and Bush's Baked Beans.

I have guns and ammo. No food stockpiles though. I'm not a prepper.

I can picture it now. You and a lone ISIS member in a vicious shoot out in your neighborhood. You might want to get it some more ammo.

How many do you think you could hold off?

Prepper lifestyle is interesting as a practical hobby if one recognizes that it is probably more for fun than preparation for the inevitable.

I mean, guns, bug out locations, etc. are cool. And admittedly, on some of the prepper sites I've been to, most of the people acknowledge that a bug out bag is far more likely to be useful in an emergency weather situation than a collapse of society.

I've got enough booze to enjoy my last few days and enough bullets to finally get to kill again.

Plus I'll just eat the wife and kid.

He sounds like the type who would buy stockpiles of this

Stockpiling is a losers game. You're just hoarding for the next guy to take from you.

Live somewhere with a sustainable food supply

If you see a head on a stick at the foot of the driveway, I'd move on if I was you, sport.

It's clear by the responses in this thread that Bucktail will be the lone survivor when the Caliphate declares all-out warfare on the US and starts sending Allah's warriors across the (fenceless!) Mexican border.

I wouldn't buy that shite, but I'd tear up some MRE's though.

I wasn't in the military though, so they aren't that bad to me. Never had to eat them for months on end

Well, I just ate my emergency chicken pot pie, so I'm gonna have to learn to either hunt and fish or steal. I am all paid up on my water bill. I make my shots count, so ammo is not a problem
