Unfortunately DFW is poor on baggage retrieval--takes forever to get your bags (only Midland/Odessa is worse).
Yeah Midland is pretty bad. The worst I've seen is at SHV's Allegiant flight from Vegas. I think they only have one or two ground crew who handle check in's, ticketing, and baggage. I've waited for almost an hour for the first bag to arrive.

Newark was actually really easy to get to by train from Penn.
Which is my point. EWR and JFK are almost identical trips using the train/air train and JFK has a pretty convenient subway option from midtown and downtown that only adds about 10 minutes to the trip. (Made the commute everyday for 2 years from 38th&6th.)
I don't see how any airport on convenient mass transit lines can be deemed "worst located".

Good lord had no idea the tunnel was like that, feel like I'd need to smoke a bowl before going through there LINK

Ya, I'd say JFK is shitty for other reasons, location isn't its biggest issue by far.

Dallas Love Field is pretty bad too. There's only one check-in area for 20+ gates.
You must not travel much. DAL is one of the easiest and most convenient airports in the US.

Philly has the worst people working there. I saw a gate attendant cuss out a 80+ year old lady because she wanted to board early because it would take her extra time.

except the JetBlue terminal - that thing is like a nightclub. Who is bagging on Love Field? For its size, it is a fantastic airport. +1 for trying to connect in Charlotte, I need a golf cart to make those gate changes.
Eerily quiet security has to go to the Southwest terminal in St Louis.....for a major metropolitan area, that entire terminal is like a ghost town
Worst airport to arrive early for your flight and there isnt a fricking thing to do?......Tulsa, what a shithole

I haven't been through KC in a few years, but they used to have security for every gate. Want a water? Back through the detector. Take a whizz? Same.
Baffling setup. Pretty good BBQ place upstairs, though.

Yeah Midland is pretty bad.
And the plane lands right next to the carousel entrance. Yet I have gotten off planes, completed car rental stuff, and STILL waited for my luggage.

frick ATL airport! Seems like every time I fly in there I'm delayed.
I fly almost every week, and for whatever reason, each time it's on a Boeing 717 I end up getting a significant delay for maintenance issues. I've only been delayed in ATL once this year. Missed my connection 4 or 5 times because of a busted 717 in OKC, PIT, or DTW though.

It's pretty trippy the first time you see it. DTW is honestly a great airport. I much prefer flying through there than ATL or MSP, although MSP isn't all that bad.
The sky lounges at ATL are hit or miss. Best one I've seen domestically is the one at SFO.

From where I live it's not that convenient but outside of the long security line it's fairly good. Southwest is a great airline.

Never travel without Pre-Check. I fly out of Love all the time and I can go from my truck to the gate in 10 minutes.

I've had tons of issues at Midland (most of those dealing with flights being delayed leaving), but this last time I only waited 5 minutes from getting to the carousel till my bag came out.

I've got a problem with ATL's tiny corridors. If they're boarding several flights at the same time you can't make your way through the hallway, feels really cramped.
That is the only negative I can think of with ATL.

I also tend to have problems with delta (I know many others on here have zero issues with them).
Delta was on my shitlist after my flight got diverted to Greenville SC because ATL was shutdown and I was on an international flight so we were forced to stay on the plane for almost 3 hours, but after calling and raising hell I got my hotel room paid for and a shite ton of free miles. So they are off of it for now.

I've flown in and out of hartsfield for about 15 years now and never had a single problem.
I honestly think that most people (not necessarily you, rize) are intimidated by its size and if/when they can't figure out where to go they end up just saying the airport sucks.
I hate flying through there because if your connection isn't in the same concourse, you won't make it in less than 30-40 minutes scheduled layover with even a slight delay in arrival. I always seem to end up way at the end of A or B and have to run to the pain train, then run to the end of C.
I fly through there often, but I much prefer going through DTW or MSP. MEM was pleasant, but dated back when it was a hub.
The airport is too crowded so you can't actually walk quickly or run without knocking people over. There's nowhere for passengers to line up but in the corridor out into the concourse. I also don't like the narrow (and poorly lit) concourses, the lack of natural lighting, lack of a moving walkway in the concourses, the mostly dirty/crowded sky lounges (which are being updated), and the rude/lazy gate agents.
Then they have Concourse F.....which feels like it's from another planet. It's is the only one concourse at ATL that doesn't suck. All of their concourses should be that nice, that clean, and that comfortable.

12 minutes. End of F to end of A or T. Maximum.

Not possible....at least not on Monday mornings or Thursday evenings.
Do you just barrel through the people lining up to board in the concourse walkway or are you one of those guys they pick up in Porsches?
