I have yet to hear and reasonable reasons for opposing legalization.
Now that ObamaCare forces me to pay for your healthcare, I am opposed to the legalization of marijuana. Now, if you reduce my taxes, premiums, and deductibles, then you can put whatever poison you want into your body.

Yet the 3 most abused drugs are ALL legal... Get out of here with that shite.

Furthermore, if every state followed your logic, nothing would ever change. Someone has to take the plunge.

The OT prides itself in advocating personal liberty. I don't smoke weed but I cannot come up with one good reason why others should not be allowed to smoke if they so choose.
If we are going to champion personal liberty we must do so fully and faithfully in all regards... Anything less is hypocritical
ETA: the obamacare argument is a great point. We shouldn't require prescriptions for weed and then see those scripts covered by health insurance.

Second, we have bigger fricking problems than legalizing pot
it's not like it would require our legislators' complete and undivided attention for a significant amount of time.

Pretty fricking delicious. Only thing that could make it better is grits, butter, salt and pepper.

CJ reform in general should be a top three priority in the US right now.

weed isn't addictive, why have Colorado pot growers hybridized their product to increase THC 300%? I'm neutral on legalization. Just can't stand being around stoners doing dumb shyt in public - which they ALWAYS end up doing.
YOU just described alcohol.

The people who think ending the WOD is about getting high are mind boggling. Like, how can one be that simple?

What does one have to do with the other? No insurance company currently covers medical marijuana.

I'm not sure how this can be regulated. Pot store will have a whole bunch of associated costs. That will drive the price up. Dude on the street doesn't have those costs. But he can raise his price to get it closer to that of the pot store.

Well the sole purpose is to generate tax dollars. Just forget about it being the most useful plant on earth.

Yes. And fast food and junk food and sugar drinks.
If I have to pay for your healthcare, then I should get a say in what you do to damage your health.

Not opposed at all because IDGAF about what you do on your own time.

Dude on the street also cannot guarantee strain type, that his product is pesticide free, that his product is lab tested, etc, etc.
