I am referring to both medical and recreation use. In the past ten years attitudes towards marijuana have shifted so dramatically I am always shocked when I speak to people that oppose legalization. I have yet to hear and reasonable reasons for opposing legalization.

Only everyone affiliated with the Dept of Corrections.

Weed = drugs = butts in cells, court costs, fines, home confinment monitoring, etcetera etcetera

I am not opposed, I just think we are not ready to support the potential issues that could be associated with it. Would love to see some credible research of a state that has legalized general consumption of marijuana over a 5 year span. Not from a north eastern state... like one with our social probz.

???? I dont think Ive ever heard of a situation where weed caused someone to be violent.

Besides....alcohol is legal and that leads to more violence and rape than a lot of things.

Weed would probably be one of the more healthy things that Louisiana dregs mess with.

I'm not opposed, but for those who are it's about $$$ for their greasy palms.
