Who's forcing you to buy popcorn and drinks? I can't remember the last time I bought concessions and I go to a lot of movies.

I don't mind going to the movies every now and then. I think they're more fun for little kids than for adults, but I much prefer to watch a movie in my own home so long as I have a decent setup.
Most people that go to the movies and buy consessions often are either high schoolers who have no concept of how much money is worth, or they are trashy people who are 30 thousandaires and never want to admit that things are too expensive or they have no self control.
