Tantara resort. Osage Beach, MO.
Stayed in a little cottage. Had a bass boat included so we went out on the lake to some of the little islands and swam and relaxed in the crystal clear water.
Very pictureues

Hit the Hawaii islands but Princeville Sheraton was the primary stop and the best by far.

Where in Krabi?

This is where we stayed. Probably the only down side was the location. It was pretty far away from any kind of shopping or restaurants, so we pretty much stayed at the resort. If we go back, I'd probably want to stay closer to Ao Nang.
Of course, the food was pretty great at the onsite restaurants and the prices were actually reasonable. And then there's always the fact that some people would prefer to be away from the town.
I'm not at all familiar with Ko Yao Noi. When we were going, rainfall was a concern. So I narrowed our search to Krabi based on that area having the lowest expected November rainfall.
Krabi was great. It ended up raining on us, but even with the downpour for 2 days we still felt like we got our money's worth. It's a beautiful area. Maybe the most beautiful place I've ever been. The limestone cliffs and islands are amazing.
Excursions are plentiful, too. We spent two days on full-day excursions to see some of the islands off the coast. I had always wanted to see Maya Bay/Phi Phi Island (Where the movie The Beach was filmed). Incredible. Crowded, but incredible. The only thing I would have done differently is the method. We should have just rented out a local longboat driver for the day and had our own schedule. Instead we did a group thing on a speed boat that was well organized, but tried squeezing too much into a small window. So we only had like 45 minutes for Maya Bay. The snorkeling was good; though, you could definitely tell that the coral had seen better days.
Regardless, no matter where you decide to go, I'm sure you'll have a great time. The people in Thailand are awesome - very friendly and even humorous. It's almost impossible to smile at someone and NOT get a smile in return. I know it's part of their reputation, but it's well earned. And seriously, walk around some and find a local massage place. I'm almost certain you can find a great massage therapist for less than $10/hr. Go as often as your body can stand. Some of the women that did me had me on the verge of tears, but they would have been good tears.

Table Rock lake in southern MO. loved it but we are not beach people. horse back ridding and biking at the end of our trip made everyone think she was sore from sex bc she could hardly walk when we got back

We are pretty dead set on Thailand switching out Chiang Mai
Had spent the day mountain biking, white water rafting and riding elephants. Finally made it back to the hotel bar. The waitress dropped to her knees and brought it to me on a platter. Perfection.
The night market is awesome there as well.

Don't know if we would have enjoyed this for the honeymoon, but Mrs MD and I did the same thing this past summer. I freaking loved it. Wife wasn't as big of a fan as I, but I could spend a month travelling to all of the different towns

Cruise. We thought it was high class. Especially when everyone else was going to Ryan's and the bowling alley for theirs.

Found a little hotel in Xcalak Mexico on the Belize board with 6 rooms, 5 hours south of Cancun.

Guess I should have taken the first one over the state line somewhere.
High rollers go to Tunica or Shreveport. Eat at fancy arse places like Olive Garden and Hooters.
