I had to dissect a live Madagascar hissing cockroach for entomology class. That shite was creepy but it cured me of squeamishness about roaches.

No man is fighting a swarm of flying roaches, no matter what weaponry he has.

frick a roach.

Lived in old house on magazine street in my bachelor days. Would spray Bengal roach spray along the perimeters. It was nothing to flip on the kitchen light around midnight and see a dozen of the big wood roaches moonwalking on their backs

I give spiders and geckos free run of my house. Since then, I have had no roaches.

I trap and release spiders.

Only spiders I tend to kill are black widows, and I hate to do that.

I've been told that roaches carry disease-causing organisms which are bad for your health for a number of different reasons. Gets all over the stuff they travel over such as utensils.

That's a misconception perpetuated by a lot of people. The giant roaches that most people freak out about typically live outdoors and somehow sneak in from time to time. If you walk around LSU on a summer evening you will see them everywhere.

The little ones, German cockroaches, are generally more of an indicator of uncleanliness and filth.

It's the trees. It used to be when I saw a neighborhood with a lot of mature oaks and other trees, I thought it was beautiful. Now I look at it as a roach hotel and probably a flea market, too.

Seems like roaches are breaking out right now. Must be seasonal? I have noticed them a lot lately.

Roaches.. The female only needs to be impregnated once in her life. From then on, she will reproduce over 300 offspring. Also, roaches can live on glue and paper if need be. I can't stand those nasty frickers. I'll catch a spider and put it outside, they eat annoying insects. A roach gets a shoe to the back every time I see one.

I had a roach fall on my face when I was asleep. I freaked the frick out and screamed like a girl. Then I turned on the vengeance mode. I went and grabbed a glass cup and caught it and put lemon juice, hot sauce, syrup and salt in the cup so it can suffer. I let it sit there until it didn't move to much then I sprayed roach killer in there. I watched the bubbles... It was glorious.

Get a cat, feed it once a week. no spiders or roaches in less than a month... feed it twice a week once critters are gone.
