If you buy gas in Alabama you are not an LSU fan.

What kind of idiots get excited about a big gas station with clean bathrooms?

I’ve yet to see any legitimate “excitement” in any of these threads. I do see a number of arse hats who fault people for lauding a well run, clean facility with good service.

I suppose you’d prefer to patronize the typical truck stop with a turd floating in the urinal and a warm, humid odor of piss and sweat in a bathroom that has no soap or toilet paper. Good on ya you nasty fricker. I’ll keep being uncool and shitting at Buckees

The three things I tried, which seem to be their top sellers, don't hold a candle to the typical truck stop offerings of Arby's, Subway, and thrice fried chicken from a batch in novence recycled oil twelve hours earlier. The BBQ pork sandwich tasted as if it had just been opened from a Del Monte canned slop of Joe and microwaved. The droppings was cheaply mass manufactured sweetened corn starch. The beef jerky dry enough to tear every fiber of your masseters.

Good lord man. How often do you eat lunch/dinner at gas stations?

Quite often, actually. I also run a tour company, Poorboy Tours of New Orleans. Once a month, we do a specialty tour titled, "Gas Station Poorboys." It is a local's favorite and November's is sold out and December is filling up fast.

You are very much correct. I love these threads in the OT so we can see who the idiots are.
I don’t think people fully understand how trashy 95% of the gas stations are in La, Ms, and Al. It’s so nice to walk in a place like Bucees.

I will agree with a previous poster though, the one in Bama is a mess in regards to traffic flow. I don’t think they expected the crowds

Perhaps Bama DOTD is planning on modifying that exit? I would think any exit is gonna be a shite show given the traffic that
Place generatesz. Even the one in Baytown can suck and it’s got a huge feeder road for access. I think it’s just the nature of the business.

It’s not so much about the exit as it is the entry and exit to the place.

I’m sure for the next six months it will be ok, but from May through September it seems like it’s just going to be a circus getting in and out

I love Buccee's but isn't this like the third thread we've had lately about them?

I live close enough that I can drive over to Bucees just to take a nice shite. Where my wife and kids can’t bug me.

On your next trip through Baldwin County you can stop at Oasis or Luvs for fuel and snacks.

What is the appeal about that place? I’ve never been to one but hear people rave about it

People from Texas to Alabama think it's a WaWa but don't know any better.

It's just a big gas station that's clean and rips off Stuckey's. Like if RaceTrac and Stuckey's had a love child.

Yeah, you can go into that stall and close the louvered door and be in a world to yourself. It's amazing that there are 30 more of those little worlds next to you. And, I'm not sure but it is possible one has their own air conditioning vent in the stall. Nobody can rain on my Buc ee's restroom experience. No one. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it.

Who would have ever envisioned a time when I could stop at a gas station, buy fuel, soda and granite countertops for my beach condo?
