Why has no one asked if there are humans that just got destroyed there?
Because a static fire test has no crew and no one is on the ground anywhere near these things.

My theory is that there are some blue haired liberal women working at SpaceX that are sabotaging these rockets.

it is literally a test to see if static will make the fuel go BOOM
Why would anyone be near there?

Boeing isn't looking like such a terrible option now.

Boeing's doors fall off AFTER they have been tested

It was a placed static test, but the failure occurred before the test started.

It was Ship that exploded on Wednesday night, on a test stand at Starbase's Massey site (not the orbital launch mount, from which Starship liftoffs occur). According to NASASpaceflight, which closely monitors Starship activity at Starbase, the anomaly occurred just before Ship was set to perform a static-fire test.

And repeated failures during launches. Starliner made it to ISS and back. In fact, the astronauts could have returned safely on Starliner but for an abundance of caution.
So yeah, Starliner is looking better.

I was responding to someone asking if anyone was around

Please refrain from using the word literal moving forward.
Static = not moving
They are not testing the effects of static electricity. They are holding the rocket in place to test fire the engines without it flying away.

I thought it was a static fire test for shielding
If not, I stand corrected

A static fire test means light the engines, make sure they run as expected, then shut it down
At this point the block 2 Starship has really been nothing but a disaster after the successes of Block 1
Might want to go back to the drawing board

That is not some profound Elon revelation

It was a static "test". Nobody was near it.

I think a lot of this is expected. They have been reusing rockets/ships knowing they have likely been compromised but they want to see where it fails so they can focus on what needs to be upgraded to make it durable enough for multiples uses. Much of what they have been doing lately has been purely to make things fail and find the actual limits.

One can say anything they like about Musk but this is generally true in life. fricking up is usually more memorable than succeeding. When you succeed at something you usually rack it up to your genius and infallibility. When you frick up something, as soon as you get beyond pointing fingers, you have the opportunity to do some noodling over how it happened and planning to avoid it in the future. Unless of course you find an easy scape goat early on in the finger pointing stage and then you are most likely going to repeat your frick up.
