I spent a year in South America with the Military. Then had a plant in Tijuana back in 2005. Hate to say it but SoCal now resembles most of the impoverished countries “South of the Border”. You have lots of blight and then enclaves for the wealthy.

Yea for a bunch of people preaching about protecting the environment they are failing badly at the practical application of their lectures.

But the literal shite they leave behind is organic. And full of nutrients!

I've been to L.A./Socal Coast one time and was blown away by the amount of homeless people. They were set up everywhere. Walking through a park on Dana Point and almost tripped over a dude sleeping in the middle of a grass patch while I wasn't paying attention. Little parks all down the beaches with people working out also filled with homeless folks. I had no clue before going there.

It really is a trip living here. I walk out my door and have a gorgeous view of the mountains. Then I leave for work and see one bum trying to hit another bum with a lead pipe by the freeway.

Sounds like New Orleans with much better weather and views.

Homeless people are everywhere in New Orleans, everywhere in Baton Rouge, everywhere in Atlanta, everywhere in Houston. I have tons of friends in southern California. The shite in those photos isn't everywhere you look. Still a lot of very nice areas in the L.A. Metro and Orange County areas , San Diego... I'm out there at least once a year, every year to visit. I never see any that because I don't visit places there that tolerate that trash. Only time I have seen that is when I have been near downtown L.A. on my way to LAX. Venice beach, at the beach, has gotten pretty bad. I can guarantee you Marina Del Rey just next to Venice has almost none of that shite. Manhattan Beach, ditto. Hermosa Beach? Ditto.

We’re getting more and more- especially in the dirt hiking path next to the canals. RVs are parked all down Washington Blvd. The shopping centres, gas stations, and liquor stores are already overrun. Residential areas have security, but it’s only a matter of time before some publicly funded sjw lawyer sues over the hobos rights to “be.”

It’s pretty awesome weather to be homeless in California

Wondered why Homeless people live in Seattle, Minneapolis and NYC. I’d be in liberal loving L.A. if it all went downhill for me.

They just need more taxpayer money so they can afford to get it cleaned up.

If I'm living in a tent it's going to be someplace with mild weather year around.

A buddy of mine used to joke in high school that he wished he could be a beach bum and sell drugs for a living.

At least I always thought he was joking. Maybe he was a visionary 20 years before his time.
