That tornado was a doozie and it traveled easily 60 miles on/off

This cell isn't giving up and has cycled already today. It's looking better again now

It looks to have a shot to put another one down.

Looks like it's finally dying
I want to see the damage survey path on this one

14 into eutaw was blocked by trees so I redirected came to the farm south of eutaw
Towards Boligee down 11? Now I've got to know where this farm is if south of Eutaw. You know where Tishabee is?

A different cell just put down another tornado in the same existing polygon

Most of eutaw looked ok, think it hit on edge of town where 14 enters the city.
You just passed my grandmother's house on your left coming into town where you took this pic.

This is rotation and a tornado that's unique and new from the previous long track tornado we've been watching. It was like it absorbed the old rotation.
It started off as some strong inflow then the rotation we had been watching gave it enough shear and friction to ramp up into it's own tornado.

ATL news says debris at 10k at that storm now

No Spann sidekicks can attain the levels of Mark Prater and Jason Simpson
what a day he had the day of the 2011 Super Outbreak
he was on during both events that day... the morning squall line & the afternoon super cells
ETA: and yes I know Spann was on during both events too... but Simpson was on air 1st during the morning squall line and Spann joined him in progress

My folks house on the north end of Lake Martin just got rocked… several houses around are completely destroyed.

Tornado on the ground south of LaGrange crossing I-85 now. The cycling of these cells has been incredible
Posted on 1/12/23 at 2:45 pm to The Boat
I’m worried about Lagrange with how quickly that spun up I fear some people have been injured and hopefully not killed. Lots of cars on the road and went right over 85
Posted on 1/12/23 at 2:48 pm to schwartzy
Yeah.. it went right through the southern part of town then across I-85 and then I-185 just to the south of the interchange.

Hell of a swirl on Reflectivity showing that rotation.
