There's a reason the SPC made the late bump to Enhanced. When the HRRR started showing the storm mode it had and the parameters in place, they knew that any storms that could stat isolated would be a problem.

I am in Alex City right now. The air feels too cool for bad stuff.

It will eventually help, but this would could go a while after it embeds into the line.

Winter systems are more shear driven than CAPE. Doesn’t take too much instability from daytime heating to get them going
