Meaning the repair crews likely won't even be out until midnight or later.

Wrestling with going to buy a generator I really can't afford or...I don't know.

Anyone want to rent a generator they aren't using for a day or so?

Nasty line came through central MS. Shingles in my yard, praying they aren't mine.

Not to be rude but you can’t slum it for a day or less? Not like it’s sweltering or freezing outside.

it is probly far less to do with making due without it as opposed to having a generator to cover this situation and it not working.

I mean, I could live in a box under the overpass.

I'm just weighing my options right now. I don't like going without power

I'm probably just gonna break down and run to Home Depot and buy a new one. I just don't feel like spending all the money when this one was running when the last hurricane hit

ETA: especially when it's probably a $50 repair. I was just gonna run the fridge and tv and Xbox and watch movies. Now I'm out in this bullshite

Got pretty real in north Denham right at 7… seems to have calmed a lot but we don’t have power

Same for us between Denham and Watson.

Hubs was outside right about then and said the wind was pretty rough. Power out now and the whole house generators are singing the song of our people.

Don't like the look of this rotating supercell crawling across Mobile Bay.

I'm close to the bay in Fairhope and this thing is a threat to drop a large slow moving waterspout that comes ashore somewhere between Daphne and Point Clear

Bad mess here in Northern Evangeline parish. Trees/limbs, roof damage, vehicle damage, and two sheds of ours are gone. Neighbors tractor shed flew 100 yards and was standing on our driveway.

Apparently a tornado may have touched down in the Cleco plant in Saint Landry. That whole area has been without power for several hours now.

Impressive hail core on radar approaching Pt Clear. I'm literally 400 yards from the Fairhope pier about 3 miles north of Pt Clear

In Reservoir Brandon Mississippi and we got hit. Everything seems to be okay though. I know we have a bunch of trees down. Reports of a person being trapped in their house about a mile or so away
