If it stays south of Lake Arthur, that’s at least a very sparsely populated area.

Let’s hope. Not feeling too comfy right now near the interstate in Acadia Parish.

There isn't going to be much tracking tornadoes in that storm now. The best advice is that if you're within the associated severe thunderstorm warning you should treat it as a tornado warning. That part of the line is going to cycle possible tornadoes, and they could occur over a sizable area as the line evolves.

The new Severe Thunderstorm warning for the southern storm has a tornado possible tag.

Tell ya what pop, that was easily tropical storm/cat 1 force winds when it hit us.
Good news is, 10-15 minutes till the worst is over. Still nasty but nothing the the line, or like my pahtna says “da front da front”

Instead of issuing a new tornado warning, and possibly having to issue more than one, NWS Lake Chuck went with a Severe Thunderstorm Warning that has a "tornado possible" tag. That's pretty common with QLCS storms that are quickly spinning up shortlived tornadoes. They should be treated like a tornado warning, though, because one can form with minimal warning.
