What made SP great was that it was 4 kids with mouths like sailors, who had a pervert for a teacher, getting into shenanigans in their crazy lil mt town. Once they went away from that the show stopped being funny.

It wasn't until about a year ago that I realized that South Park was still on TV. They had an episode or two about Trump that a lot of people were praising, but I found those episodes to be as unfunny as hell.
They're obviously doing this because Trump is trying to rename everything after America. Of course, this pro-Trump website probably won't understand that.
But that doesn't mean that South Park is remotely funny. That show ran its course about 15 years ago.
And Trump is so stupid that it's hard to make a funny joke about him, because it's hard to make him look stupider than he already is.

Was a great show but then starting coming off the wheels in Season 15 or so. These guys have turned woke and would no longer make a Mohammed episode. There is plenty of things to poke Trump on in a truly funny fashion, but their Trump hate is so vicious that their "jokes" on him aren't funny at all. They went down the Jimmy Kimmel route and can STTDB.

Why does it matter that it is a cartoon vs any other form of video entertainment?
