South Carolina - 6 year old missing Update OP: Sat 2/26 Neighbor did it. Confirmed

Update, neighbor who was also found dead appears to be the kidnapper. Not saying yet but it sure looks like him
Body found is Faye Marie, case treated as homicide. Also, body found of adult male, didn't say if he was in the area or close by or even related at all
The frantic search for Faye Marie Swetlik, a 6-year-old girl who mysteriously vanished in front of her South Carolina home Monday, has entered its fourth day as hundreds of police and FBI investigators continue piecing together evidence.

The Cayce Department of Public Safety late Wednesday released new video of the cars, which appear to be a Chevy Trailblazer SUV and a sedan. Police said they hope to identify and interview the occupants.

I live 20 minutes southwest of Cayce. It's just across the river from where the Carolina campus is located. The police waited almost 2 damn days to issue an Amber alert. Something about it didn't meet all of the requirements yet. Seems you'd err on the side of caution and go ahead and issue the alert rather than delay it. She also lives right next to the interstate so whoever took her is probably long gone by now.
Just praying they find her alive tho with every minute that passes the odds of that are dimming. Not sure why the mama didn't even notice she was missing for over an hour.
ETA: Actually they still have not issued an Amber alert. I thought they had. Also, they did locate and talk to the people in the SUV and found they have no connection to Faye. They are still looking for the ppl in the sedan to talk with them.

I can certainly see both sides of this issue. The problem is, if amber alerts go out every time police are notified that a kid is missing then nobody is going to pay attention to them.

This has happened with teenagers. I hardly pay attention to them because 95% of the time they run off rebelling against their parents.
6 year old on the other hand should be a lot quicker to act.

Yes. Not sure how the two deaths are related to each other. Pray to God it isn't everyone's biggest fear around here that it's someone preying on kids.
I hope they find whoever the evil frick is who took that precious baby's life and torture them until they beg for death.
