I went for the orange bowl this year and was very disappointed. Probably will never go back

The movies and television made it real enticing, but it is definitely a shithole.

I went 3 months ago and it was awesome. Go to some nice restaurants and clubs and report back.

I lived on SB for a while and I'm in Miami at least once a month. It's a city with lots of cash, no doubt, but far more posers and wanna-be's.

South Beach is retardedly overhyped.

About 12+ years or so ago, sobe was awesome. Hot chics everywhere all damn week. It was insane. Latin pussy that was smoking hot all over, topless on the beach, best asses on the planet. Walking up and down ocean drive weekdays and weekends. This was right after I graduated and lived here in 2001. People hung out on the beach or ate at the overpriced bars and restaurants on ocean drive. Opium Gardens was insane. Never had I seen so many beautiful women in one place. Mansion was the top club in the United States. Club Space was an after hours club on my god it was incredible. House and Trance had just taken off, people would be our on the back deck as the sun was coming up with mist machines and fans going, stupid hot latin women taking their tops off to just bras, dudes shirtless, etc. Wildest party scene I've ever experienced and I've seen a lot.

I left in 2003 and then moved back several years ago. South Beach was totally different. It had gone from about 50% latin, 35% white, 10% black to 40% black, 40% latin, 20% white. A lot of the blacks that roam ocean drive are just roaming and come from the poor areas like Overtown which is 5 miles away and housing projects. A lot just roam up and down on foot or packed with about 8 in a small car. Lot of them stink and make me wonder if they are homeless or something. frick tons of pot. Smell it just walking down the street. 80% of the hot women on sobe are gone now. There are only a few places on a sat or Sunday even worth a damn on sobe anymore. Mangos, the delano pool, loews pool, and sls pool party still attract top notch arse. That is out of about 100 places though and you don't get into sls as a guy unless you buy bottle service. 95% of sobe sucks now. And it is because the beautiful are mostly gone because they don't feel comfortable with all the questionable looking blacks hollaring at them, cat calling, etc.

That is just real talk and the way it is. You want to have fun on sobe, you need to know exactly where to go now. It isn't what it once was though it is still trying to live on that reputation.
