re: Something tells me this guy knows a thing or two about teaching history

One of my good friends is a recently retired history teacher. I love having a drink or 10 with him and ask him to teach me something. He just rattles off tons of facts about historical subjects that were covered quickly in school.

If your sober though he'll talk your damn ear off.

When I was in middle school there was a substitute that looked 100 percent like Abraham Lincoln and leaned into the whole thing. Probably 6'7", full beard, the whole thing. His name was Mr. Grant.
