1) her transformation isn't that uncommon or impossible to accomplish.
2) her uterus was still swollen in the first pic. I didn't gain more than 20 lbs while pregnant bc of diet and exercise, but i looked just like her in the before pic bc my uterus was still quite enlarged In addition to inflammation from the surgery to extract my child. Getting your guts opened like that is no joke.
3) stretch marks, as someone already said, are a combo of genetics and how you gain weight. My family has none even though my mom gained like 50 lbs with her pregnancies. I had none but then again, I gained slowly and didn't blow up like a house. My best friend got them and she did everything right with diet, exercise, and coco butter. It was pure genetics. All you can do is your best with what's within your control.
4) I would've been happy had my husband sent me this while pregnant. It would've reinforced the hope I had regarding getting my body back. I was scared that I was doomed but those post preggo pics inspired me more than anything.

I'll just label it as an excuse for your wife to be fat
Posted on 1/28/16 at 11:33 am to Kujo
so I am going to assume that you were bottle fed

I don't understand why you are catching a little shite for stating the truth: breastfeeding burns calories and makes women lose weight faster.
I don't either

My wife gained about 25 pounds during pregnancy and is about three weeks into recovery. She has already lost 20 pounds. She is breast feeding the little guy like crazy.

If a new mother pumped 24/7, they'll look like a supermodel?

obviously not all, as I stated genetics plays a role
but most could/would return back to pre baby form sooner

My wife produced like a dairy cow and dropped the baby weight quickly. We had a 2 month store of baby milk when she stopped pumping after 6 months just used the last of the breast milk last week.

Most women who breastfeed exclusively eat more calories to be able to produce more milk. They want to avoid using formula so attempt to keep it going as long as possible.
I have a friend who weights the baby to see how much milk was consumed and then back calculates that into calories for her food log.

Your pediatrician has undoubtedly recommended that you breast-feed for a number of reasons relating to your baby’s health and development. Mead Johnson agrees that breast milk has benefits that infant formula has not yet been able to replicate, including playing an important role in supporting resistance to infections during a baby’s first year of life. There is also data that formula, historically, has not supported intellectual development as well as breast-feeding.

While three out of four new moms start out breastfeeding, less than half continue for six months or more, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Just 15 percent breastfeed exclusively for six months -- the benchmark set by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Babies who are breastfed for at least a year grow up to be significantly more intelligent as adults and they earn more money, too, a new study shows.
The findings fit in with many other studies that show breastfeeding helps brains to develop better. But this study was done in an unusual way, following people from birth until they were 30 years old, to see how they did in life.
The breast-fed babies did better than babies who were nursed for a month or less, the researchers report in the journal Lancet Global Health.
They scored better on intelligence tests as adults and they also earned more on average.

My wife breastfeeds, but come on, this sure is giving a lot of credit to breast milk.
