These people are fricking insane.

The left wing reaction is beyond pathetic.

1) Martha's Vineyard WELCOMED immigrants.

2) Martha's Vineyard had as much notice as the ORIGINAL cities in which they were dumped.

3) Residents of Martha's Vineyard have faar more resources as far as finances to take care of them.

4) This is a common practice these stupid newbies have never hard of before, so they're outraged.

Uneducated and uninformed people can't understand because they need to be told what stance to take.

I’m not here saying that the democrats have it right on immigration and border control. I think much of what is happening on that side is flawed thinking. I live in a border state, and I empathize with the Republican politicians that are faced with the systemic issues created by the current policy and the influx of migrants. That doesn’t mean I have to agree with using these people as props and dropping them off in Martha’s Vineyard.

Isn't Martha's Vineyard a "sanctuary city," if so, they should be welcoming all illegals with open arms.

No. They just claimed they were.

Wealthy Democrats do not want to pay for the policies they support. They want the Middle Class and the masses to deal with their bullshite.

Adults would coordinate relocation of human beings, they don’t just fly them in and drop them off without warning.

The adult thing to do here is to attempt to get these sanctuary cities to take them, and when they decline, call their bullshite loud and clear and advertise that they won’t accept them.

I’m not horrified; I even said it was a funny quip. But that doesn’t mean I have to agree with it as a good or proper course of action.

These people were going to get sent somewhere. The only place they won't get sent is back to their home countries despite the fact they came here illegally. I think you're just upset that your side looks bad here.

The people are props to the Left, as well. They're used as political cudgels to alter the voting demographics. The Left don't give a shite about them, they just like that it waters down Right's voting/political power.

Border states sending them to places such as MV makes the real, legitimate issue of changing areas and declining neighborhoods very, very real. Nothing the Left hates more than a mirror.

No shite. Though it is a funny quip in the satirical play that is now US politics, it is a sad act. These are people in search of a better life, dehumanizing them in this fashion is not exactly a humanitarian move.

Oh for frick’s sake, read the actual news some time instead of bullshite put out by CNN and the New York Times. Biden has been flying illegal immigrants across the nation under the cover of night for months now. And where else should we put them? Does under an overpass in El Paso seem more humane?

Or how about in these border facilities where they’re piled on top of each other like livestock:

And here’s a someone like you saying to stop dehumanizing them and treat them with dignity and respect while she’s treat them worse than pigs in a sty. But no, clearly this is much better and humane than sending them to a third world hellhole like Martha’s Vineyard. I mean, just look at the horrific images:

I mean, my God, the resemblance between it and Auschwitz are uncanny to say the least:

Jesus Christ, read for once instead of putting your head in the sand. Dehumanizing them by sending them to Martha’s Vineyard. You’ve got to have a tenuous grasp of the world at best to think that’s dehumanizing.

Are you aware of the Federal government dumping immigrants without warning all over the country?

The Obama administration recently released 760 illegal immigrant children to sponsors in the Volunteer State without any warning

Its cheaper than welfare.

Your solution was dump them in Cuba. According to you, that was a better solution for the immigrants than Marthas Vineyard.

I would think that any sanctuary city should be well equipped to handle an influx of illegal immigrants without warning, or is that only for border states. I guess that the "sanctuary city" of Martha's Vineyard is that in name only.

Though, you wouldn't be opposed to Gov. Abbott sending 1000 illegals to Martha's Vineyard, if he notified them beforehand.

You have no idea how expensive it is long term to host illegals long term if you think $600k is some gotcha moment for FL.

He's upset that a republican had the balls to do exactly what the federal government did to him. Dump off a bunch of illegals at the doorstep of an area that had no idea they were coming and had no plan to deal with them.

I don’t have a side. It is amazing that so many of you are reduced to this level of discussion. I don’t really care about politics at all. I have children and wealth to build—what ever happens in the political sphere can happen. I am merely commenting on this from a social perspective. I don’t think democrats using illegals as props is good either, and the certainly do it.

I understand these Republican leaders’ desire to illustrate the hypocrisy of those championing these open border policies, I just don’t agree with going about it in this fashion.

You really think chartering two puddle jumpers to MV costs $615K.

Yeah, I’m sure you’re equally as critical when the Left does this constantly. It’s all they ever do.

They could have done that without physically dropping them on Martha’s Vineyard. They could have done that using media and showed their refusal to actually take these people, without using specific individuals as props.
