This is all the progs can say. This incident has proven them to be the complete and total phonies that they are. Their leftist politicians called the Massachusetts National Guard to remove 50 illegal immigrants some 24 hours after arrival, when they have claimed to be a sanctuary city for years. These are the same people who call Arizonans and Texans who want a tight border racist, when they can't even a stand a mere fraction of what comes across the border in those states. Imagine voting for someone so rottenly disingenuous.

So the left media is reporting that the illegals are being taken care of and how liberals are more compassionate than conservatives?
Great! Send a ton more!

I'm not debating that. Simply stating a fact, these illegal aliens (yes that is what they are) were put on a plane and sent to a specific location as a political stunt. Its embarrassing that any politician would do this. I get it, some states have to deal with the issue because of proxy, its just trashy as hell in my eyes.
What the frick does it matter where they're sent? They're going to be sent somewhere by the federal government. The state is just doing exactly what the feds were going to do anyway. They just so happened to get some extra juice out of the deal.
This is only a big deal if your side is the one looking hypocritical.

Exactly. These low info derps are blaming the one who sent them, not the resource rich town that rejected them after inviting immigrants.
I guess they just hate Venezuelans who are fleeing the type of government that Progressives want in the USA.
People fleeing communism are a danger to rich progressives I guess.

No shite. Though it is a funny quip in the satirical play that is now US politics, it is a sad act. These are people in search of a better life, dehumanizing them in this fashion is not exactly a humanitarian move.

How is this dehumanizing?
That is a serious fricking question.

Martha’s Vineyard residents to the illegal immigrants.

Do you understand politics at all? I don't think you do.
Its always divisive and contentious.
I get your point though. Sending people to a city that claims to welcome them, in one of the richest areas of the country is a human disaster, just not for the people you think it is.
I do understand politics and they don't "always" have to be divisive and contentious.
I don't think its a human disaster. It makes me think less of the politician(s) who did it.

I'm assuming youre talking about the rich people who rejected them.

Every single one has done it. Thats the point.
The US media has uneducated people in a frenzy.

Come on man. They’re dropping people off in a wealthy enclave and using them as props. If you think this is a good humanitarian move, we can agree to disagree.

Martha's Vineyard said they were welcome, and rejected them and you blame someone else.

Where were they dehumanized?
When they were cared for prior to climbing onto a private plane?
Where they were cared for on said private plane?
Where they were offloaded and cared for on an insanely wealthy island who we're told are accepting and welcoming of them?
Or where the national guard was called because these elite liberals didn't want to care for these people?

I'd say rejection is the worst part of it.

These people are fricking insane.
They use these issues as political tools all the time, then when someone deploys the same tactics, they're horrified that someone would dare to engage in the same behavior they do.

The president opens the boarder, busses them to Florida, and Florida flies them to a sanctuary city. What exactly do you expect states to do in this situation?

I don’t read Reddit, rog. Like I said, if you don’t think using indigent migrants as political props is dehumanizing, we can agree to disagree.

I’m not horrified; I even said it was a funny quip. But that doesn’t mean I have to agree with it as a good or proper course of action.
