I’m not sure if they have white undersides or not, but I think you can tell by the dorsal fin, great whites are more pointed while the basking shark is slanted so that’s what makes me agree that it’s a basking shark. At least I hope it is. But it’s the ocean, we don’t really know what monsters are down there.

My first thought when I saw the video was that it doesn't look to move like a great white and it's body didn't look as powerful as a great white. That last shot of the side of its face is what made me wonder. I've never seen either in person, so I don't really know shite besides looking at pics in a shark book I had as a kid with my 2 year old

Love Jaws. The scariest thing about that movie is that Jaws itself is not an exaggeration. Great Whites get as big as depicted in that movie.
