The walkers themselves would be thrown to the ground and run over at some spots.

That interview is going to haunt that poor girl. It’s obvious she was half buzzed and no way that reporter should have put her on air. And put her name on air. I legit feel bad for her.

Have the routes seemed busier to anyone else the past few years? I know there would be some logistical issues, but would lengthening the routes some spread people out more?

All the peeps I know from NOLA either went to Orlando or skiing during Mardi Gras as kids.
Also I just want to add that Mobile Mardi Gras parades have killed no one this year. Only accident was when some old lady watching the parade was hit by a drunk driver.
NOLA needs to stop kidding itself. It's Mardi Gras celebration and parade situation need serious upgrades for safety and aesthetics. It's disgusting down there during Mardi Gras and the crews are running on fumes with membership and income dwindling.
I see a lot more crews going full blown Comus and giving up the lame arse parade bs.

No it won’t. The reported asked if would damper. She even said you have to think about the families. Interview was perfectly fine

I mean, it was a loaded question. The reporter said doesn't this ruin your night? It's only natural for her to agree with her in a conversation.
