That's all Instagram is nowadays. People having children so they can have cute little parties but when all that goes away they have trouble raising kids right because they themselves are not right.

A lot of people are inconsiderate of others, and that's why I always have headphones on a flight.
On 2 of my last 3 flights we had to deal with insufferably loud passengers, and only once was it a child. The other was a wasted, foul-mouthed bitch in first class.

So, as someone that doesn’t have children I don’t have the answer for this. If that’s unusual behavior for the child so she couldn’t be prepared for it, what should the parents do in that scenario? I honestly don’t know.

30 flights isnt that much. 2-3 vacations a year and connecting flights back and forth. 1 trip is typically 4 flights round trip.

As for the autistic child in the OP, what is telling a flight attendant mid flight going to do? It sucks that they got were on the flight and that the child was so fired up but what can you REALLY do once it happened if you’re not the child’s parent? Seems like they should’ve tried to take care of it pre takeoff it the captions were accurate.

I has almost the exact same thing happen a few years back. The 1 1/2 old looking baby was inconsolable. Parents were trying all they could and the mother was crying. You could tell that most people were feeling bad for them. That's when I gathered 4 people and we went to the baby. We started singing twinkle twinkle standing in the aisle. The people in the seats front and behind leaned over to sing with us and to smother the baby with comfort and love. Next thing you know the whole plane was singing lullabies. That baby was amazed at what was happening and started smiling and clapping its hands. After about 10 minutes, we slowly decreased the volume to a whisper until the baby went to sleep. Everybody went back to there seats and we landed 2 hours later. The parents of that baby asked for me to take a picture with the baby when we got to the concourse. I said that not just me but everybody needed to take a picture with that baby so we ended up taking a big group picture.

It is impossible to tell of that child is on the autism spectrum from that video. He could be autistic, have an intellectual disability, or just be a defiant child with weak parenting.
If he was one of the first two, his mother should have been prepared for this situation and had a sedative to give him before the flight.
The airline should have removed them before takeoff when he was screaming on the runway.
