How can we cope with this when George Clooney doesn't agree with our political leanings?

Should conservatives have protested when Obama was elected? Did we miss an opportunity to take to the streets?
Or were we all at work.
Seems like the work scenario checks out since the whole "Secret Muslim" and "Not a US citizen birth certificate" plans seemed like they were less organized.
I really find it funny that every time it switches parties, one side freaks out. When it flips again, they act like the other side is overreacting for freaking out.
Conservatives overreacted. Democrats have overreacted. It's just the nature of treating politics like teams.
But damn, some of those girls could have been good Yokozuna rivals back in the day. Like a "Walk without out stopping in 10 feet match" or something.

Why did you feel the need to march, jenn?
How are women oppressed in this country?

Honestly? People watching in the bay is awesome! It was a blast. People dancing and playing music...costumes, hilarious signs and I walked 5 miles for exercise. It was a great day to enjoy in the bay. I stopped and got coffee, dropped in the tattoo shop and met a bunch of nice people...name one reason I shouldn't have gone? Fun is fun regardless of political leanings.

So it wasn't a protest but more like Mardi Gras?
I thought people were angry and oppressed hence the reason to protest.

I would like to know how women are oppressed in America in 2017? That would be nice to know.

Probably 90% of the males on the poli board and at least 60% on this one think women shouldnt vote, so start there

But they can vote so how are they oppressed?
Oh, and your post is full on hyperbole.

Yep. It's no higher than 75% and even then it's only liberal women we don't think should vote.

Answer my question, dummy.

I'm not remotely about to debate for either side.
What I will say is if there was this much action and enthusiasm a few months ago, they may not be so upset. I wasn't a big Trump guy at all, still not, but when you ignore the fact that people are united across parties in disliking Hillary, you're only increasing people voting against her and decreasing people going out to vote for her.
Maybe if they didn't have their heads up their arse, the Democrats wouldn't be crying right now. But no, they were arrogant. Wasn't in on Trump, but I've also hated Hillary for years so I just voted on everything but that race.
So, maybe if you're going to lose your shite over losing so badly, pick someone who people haven't already repeatedly made it clear that they didn't want her.

I live in alameda but the March was in Oakland....it was super fun. Even the police danced with us....there were food trucks and local businesses made a fortune. I would have taken my daughters but sometimes the crowds in Oaktown get unruly...I wish I would have now.

Glad it remained only about women's rights and lifting the heavy burden of oppression they face in America in 2017.

Nothing screams "women's rights" more than glorifying a religion that enslaves women.
