Need any more proof that this was a horrible fricking idea???

Keeping everyone at home had nothing to do with what’s going on now
A black man getting killed by a cop has nothing to do with what’s going on now

We already know it was a bad idea

Wrong. The black man getting killed was the icing on the cake that set this whole thing off.

Letting crazed people run about unabated is the issue here.

So you think the government forcing people to stay up at home pent up nowhere to go, be laid off/furloughed and struggling to receive unemployment because states websites suck, and there be little light at the end of the tunnel for democratic states had absolutely nothing to do with people releasing their anger on stores and businesses?

I black man killed by a cop had universal outrage. What’s going on now is leftist destroying and looting democrat cities because of opportunism

It appears to show how little control police have on citizens, which is kind of a good thing if you are looking at it from a 'Don't tread on me' standpoint.
Very few of these people are armed and they are able to overwhelm police.
Has to kind of make you feel that citizens might have a chance at beating government if it ever comes to it.

Well said.

Well, you damn sure shouldn’t keep everybody at home for three months and then have a police officer kneel on a mans throat until he dies...I think we have established that as a bad combination.

Pretty much the bright spot in all of this and also part of the reason why the media is always so quick to classify this as black vs white rather than citizens vs the government.
Obviously destruction of private property and looting is terrible but it’s always good for the government to remember where the power truly lies.
Also, the riots and absence of police might be perhaps the single strongest case that has been made for the 2nd amendment in quite some time.

I’m very much a Don’t Tread on Me guy, but this really isn’t true. The police can escalate to a level that the protestors cannot; they have just prudently chosen not to.

Government still has jets and tanks, right?

What were all the welfare scum doing any differently 4 months ago?
If they were going out and buying stuff we paid them too much.

You could pretty easily take over an Air Force Base with a remarkably small number of dedicated people.
And who are they going to shoot missiles at if they dont even know who they are shooting missiles at?
