Soda Tastes Like Crap Lately. Has A Very Chemical Sort Of Aftertaste.

I had COVID in late August/Early September and there are some things that still don't taste or smell quite right. Most things are completely normal, though.

Exactly same thing happen to me with smoking.

Switch to vape for a couple months, and got tired of it. When I tried to go back to cigarettes, I couldn't smoke, it upset my stomach.

So I was forced to quit

I had never tested positive for Covid, but I'm a respiratory therapist who's been working around it since March.
I lost my sense of smell back in April and now everything smells like onions, and my taste has been completely off.


Coke and Coke Zero both have a weird sweeter taste, as well as Sprite.

The only soft drink that taste normal is Dr Pepper, and iced tea.

Beer taste like beer and most hard liquors taste normal, but soft drinks are fricked...

I don’t drink soda anymore but the very rare occasional one yes they do taste bad and I had Covid in June.
