Appreciation to all for the intervention, but I rarely drink a soda, and never at home, so I think I’m good. But this recent change of how they taste is definitely concerning.

Had the flu bad when I was a kid. I don't think I drank any coke while I was sick but things definitely tasted different. I remember chocolate being the worst, it was spicy but had no flavor.

Good time to switch to Kombucha.

I quit sodas and sweet tea about 2 years ago. Started dieting to drop some weight and those were among the first to go. I never bought them for at the house but I'd get them if I went out. Really thought I'd have a tougher time but I haven't missed them.

I must have Yankee ancestry because I’ve never liked sweet tea.

I like lightly sweetened tea, but most places put a ton of sugar in their tea. Unsweet tea tastes fine enough for me though, so that's how I always drink it.

My tastes and smell has been absent since October. Never had Covid to my knowledge.

Lost mine Saturday. Only symptom other than an occasional mild headache.
Really sucks because I love to cook. Hate to see it last for months.

I was a suckered for Newks or McCallister's sweet teas if you've ever had those. They're like sugar syrups.

When I quit sodas and tea, my cheats would be sweet teas the times I went to those places but I lost my taste for them because all I was drinking otherwise was water.
