Dead Instagram influencer Alexis Sharkey’s body was found naked just 3 miles from the home where she went missing the day after Thanksgiving,
it was revealed Monday.

The 26-year-old Houston resident was discovered around 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning — less than 24 hours after she’d last been seen — by city workers who’d been driving down the street and spotted her, according to the Houston Police Department and KHOU 11.

Stacy Robinault, Alexis’s mother, originally told local media her daughter left her apartment, which records show she purchased with her husband in July, on Friday night after an argument.

She did not take her car and was unreachable for the rest of the night and into the next morning, family said. It was not clear who the argument was with or what it was about.

The next day, Alexis’s hubby called her mom to let her know her daughter was missing, and later that night — more than 12 hours after Alexis’s body had been found by authorities — the distraught mother took to Facebook to ask the public’s help in tracking her down.
