Not true. Fault extinguishes final spousal support.

While the case is pending, though, the man may have to pay interim support, but that's a different issue than final alimony.

Suck ma balls you know math doing frick. I saw your mistake in the Untreated 4x4 thread. I got my eyes on you.

And yes. I have 2 divorces under the belt.

It's often confusing and frustrating and the whole 'get a great lawyer' thing doesn't go far when the ex wants what she's entitled to. These awesome 'deals' you often hear of are b/c the wife settled for less and didn't want to frick the husband completely over. Or she had skeletons like addiction, abuse, etc. and settled for way less than EXPLICITLY stated in Child Support tables. They'll do this to ensure their share of custody rather than face hearings.

Liquidate your assets. Nothing but cash. Kidnap her and a homeless guy roughly your size. Rent a cabin in the middle of nowhere. Kill them both and torch the place. Leave a note in your glove box or something about how you couldn’t live without her. Be creative and sound crazy.

With a little luck, the podunk police force will assume the hobo is you and won’t bother with any real investigation.

Then move to Mexico, find you a little heina and spend the rest of your life on the beach.

A prenup will accomplish nothing with respect to custody and child support in Louisiana.

Friend of mine just went through this in Texas and due to the wife having no job was ordered to pay the following:

Provide a place for the wife to live (outside their home)/apartment.

Money for living essentials (food, water etc).

Hire "her" an attorney since she has no $

Pay to put her through mental health and a substance abuse evaluation

Pay for himself the same

Keep all bills current until divorce is final

He said F it and just let her stay

Child support will nail ya. A good lawyer can minimize to zero out spousal support.

I don't believe you because that's not how it works. Only way would be through a specific agreement between you two
