Yeti's are cumbersome, expensive, and heavy. Igloo's are not.

+1. I have one and have used it once. It's great if you feel like lugging something around that weighs an extra 50 lbs

I'll never buy one because I have no need for one. I just like watching the Yeti crowd get riled up. It's fun to watch.

That's another tread but yes, I like Harley but they cost too much to buy and too much to own. Even a oil change can on one can cost you upwards of $200.

I may buy one later on down the road, but I'm going to have to see a vast improvement in their quality and reliability.

Agreed. You know how many douches there are on this board that have a yeti hat and/or sticker but don't actually own one. I bet there's a lot.

I also wear an expensive watch when a cheap watch would do.

But I agree, yetis seem dumb just based on how much those things weigh.

Over spring break i lold watching 2 fratstars struggling hauling a yeti out to the beach when a regular igloo would have served their needs just fine and not been a chore to carry.

Honest question, what did offshore fishermen do in the days before Yeti-style ice chests?

I assumed what? What the hell are you talking about? You asked me to explain why spending $300 on a cooler was stupid and I did just that. I never said anything about advice on which one you should buy. So you can take your birds and shove em up your arse.

I keep one in the back of my truck, it never leaves unless I'm going to my camp, then I put it in my boat and it stays there all weekend until I get back then it goes back to the back of my truck.

Is that okay?
